举重若轻
流行美用10年时间完成了从一家小店铺到全国2000家连锁店中国发饰品第一领军品牌的蜕变。在获得联想基金的投资加盟后,企业希望通过打造一个概念空间以引领下一个10年的方向,同时达到对内对外宣传企业文化和塑造品牌形象的效果。
功能与空间组织:项目选址于旧纺织厂内一个8.5M*72M的车间,包括概念店、发型历史博物馆、图书阅览、咖啡区、发型画廊、企业历史博物馆、展览及沙龙、工作坊、秀场、办公区等等十多项功能。设计巧妙地以弧线把窄长的管状空间分隔出相对独立而又自由流动的区域。
设计主题:编织梦想
头发——梦想长出来的翅膀,管状。
发型——编发——编织梦想。
全场以透明的管状物料配合LED灯光纺织成立体空间网络包裹旧厂房的结构,在保存工业遗产的空间特色的同时,诗意地展现品牌柔而内刚、创造改变的内涵。

Soft outside, solid inside
It took Beauty in Fashion a mere ten years to grow from a small store into China’s No.1 fair accessory dealer with 2000 chain stores. With investment from Lenovo, the company wanted to set up a concept venue to guide itself into the next decade’s development as well as publicize its corporate culture and establish its brand image.
Functions and space arrangement: The site of the project is an 8.5M*72M workshop of an old textile plant. The components of the project would function as a concept store, a hair accessory museum, a library, a café, a hairstyle gallery, a company history museum, an exhibition area, a salon, a workshop, a show place and office rooms. The designers of the project ingeniously separated the long narrow tube-like spaces with curved structures so that independent sections easily accessible to one another were created.

The old textile plant is wrapped inside a three-dimensional network created by transparent tube-like materials and LED lights. The architectural features of the industrial legacy is preserved while the brand’s message of “soft on the outside yet solid inside, and innovation” is perfected conveyed.
